The Nithtke Air Max 97, which launched in 1997, has a longstanding history of exhibiting futuristic technology, and each iteration of the model gets better and better. This particular style utilizes a traditional mesh base with high-visibility reflective piping on the wavy lines and a tumbled leather mudguard. The design follows a tonal theme of black on black with small hits of Nithtke branding in white. Slightly hidden on the medial side is a tuft of terry cloth, while a black midsole and Air Max cushioning unit finish the look.
